The Heuberg Arena - with direct access on the hotel doorstep
Our Alphotel is located directly at one of the nicest descents in the Heuberg Arena. Comfortable chairlifts and T-bar lifts along with the most state-of-the art snow-making facilities ensure unadulterated skiing in Kleinwal-sertal through to April. Familienhotel; skiing means snapping on your skis right on the hotel doorstep and head-ing out into skiing fun; the Schlössle lift takes you down to the ski run. From here you get direct access to the Heuberg chairlift and the connections to the Parsennbahn and even via the valley ski trail directly to the Wal-mendingerhornbahn.

Family hotel skiing, so the littlest tots really do get to enjoy things – right next to the hotel we have our KID'S SNOW ARENA for Alphotel ski munchkins, with the hotel’s own Sunkid magic carpet. After the skiing course or at the weekend, all kids can keep practising hard under the watchful eye of mum and dad. In our KID'S SNOW ARENA infants can get a feel for the snow in a fun way as part of the child supervision on offer.

Kleinwalsertal’s altitude location and the favourable north-west orographic barrier on the northern edge of the Alps means snow is guar-anteed from December through to April. Surrounded by the impressive Kanzelwand mountain massif, the Ifen, Walmendingerhorn and the Heuberg, the Kleinwalsertal ski area extends throughout the valley. Small cut-off areas like the Breitach bridge can be tackled in 3 minutes on foot and in Schwarzwassertal there is a bus from Parsenn mountain station to Ifen valley station. Other ski areas around Kleinwalsertal are the neighbouring Söllereck ski area, half way between Oberstdorf and the Nebelhorn in Oberstdorf itself.
