Ibex, chamois, deer, roe deer, rare birds of prey and many other wild animals are waiting to be discovered by you in the Schwarzenberg Alpine Wildlife Park in Obermaiselstein.

Nature lovers will adore the wildlife park. It is a real gem and gives visitors an insight into the numerous and diverse variety of animals in the Alps. Astonishing moments are guaranteed. The many game enclosures allow visitors to have a unique encounter with the animals. This contact should not only have a decelerating effect, but also help to strengthen the relationship and awareness of the local wildlife. Along the nature trail, you will encounter ibexes, chamois, deer, a wide variety of birds of prey and many other wild animals, including a tame fox that would love to be stroked by you. In addition to sick and injured animals, wild animals living in the wild are also lovingly cared for in the Alpine Wildlife Park. After recovery, some of the animals are released back into the wild. All those that remain have found a new home at Berghof Schwarzenberg.

On the grounds of Berghof Schwarzenberg in the Obermaiselstein Alpine Wildlife Park, much is created for the animals year after year, and the wildlife population is constantly being expanded. For this reason alone, there are always interesting new things to see at any time of year. In winter, you also have the opportunity to observe free-ranging red deer feeding at close quarters. Around 50 of these otherwise shy wild animals can be admired at close range. You can also learn lots of interesting facts about game, forests and feeding in a short talk.
