In case of a written cancellation, the following fees from the total sum are charged according to ÖHVB: 3 months to 1 month before arrival 40%, 1 month to 1 week before arrival 70%, in the last week 90%.

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

Recommended travel cancellation or travel interruption insurance

Not only for a personal quarantine order or Covid-19 illness, but also for all other cancellation reasons we recommend the arrangement of travel cancellation insurance.
In particular, travelling with children involves a certain amount of uncertainty. For more security, please check the exact insurance benefits of your chosen insurance based on your individual claims.

Since June 2021, the Allianz hotel cancellation insurance recommended by us now also includes the risk of a personal quarantine order or Covid-19 illness.

If you travel to a region for which the Federal Foreign Office issues a travel warning or an entry ban, the insurance is usually cancelled. In case of a travel alert the insurance remains in effect.

If you have year-round travel cancellation insurance (e.g. your credit card), please check whether these Covid-19 events are included.
In addition, a deposit may be required via the credit card to activate the insurance. In this case, please contact us, since we currently don't require any advance payments.
